In several regions snakes…

Though unusual, snake bites from toilets are a documented hazard in some parts of the world, with incidents reported across multiple continents. Snakes can enter homes through sewer systems, roof vents, or gaps in plumbing—particularly in tropical regions during rainy seasons when flooding disrupts their natural habitats.
In one widely reported case in Thailand, a man was bitten on the genitals by a 12-foot python that had taken shelter inside his toilet. In South Africa, a Dutch tourist suffered serious injuries after a Cape cobra struck in an outdoor restroom. Additional incidents include a woman in Texas bitten by a rat snake, and another case in Australia where a person was bitten on the thigh by a carpet python.
All of the victims survived, though some required surgery and psychological support following the attacks. Experts note that while such encounters are rare, they highlight the importance of maintaining secure plumbing systems and staying cautious in areas where wildlife may enter human environments.
