Five-year-old Noah Woods is being hailed a hero after he woke to flames in his bedroom and saved his entire family of nine. He quickly grabbed his 2-year-old sister and the family dog, escaped through a window, then ran back in to alert his uncle and help others escape. Thanks to his quick thinking, everyone made it out safely with only minor injuries. Noah will be honored as an Honorary Bartow County Firefighter for his bravery. Though the family lost their home, they’re grateful to have each other—all thanks to Noah’s heroic actions.
