Woman Adopts Foster Dog for One Last Night of Love

In a final act of love, Isabel Klee gave a sick foster dog, Zero, a family just hours before he was set to be euthanized. The Brooklyn foster, who has cared for animals for seven years, welcomed Zero in early December but soon faced heartbreaking news about his declining health.

Despite efforts to ease his suffering, Zero’s condition worsened, leaving Isabel to confront a painful reality. Two days later, Zero passed away, surrounded by those who loved him. Isabel honored his memory, saying he left behind “the legacy of a resilient little shelter dog who was loved until his very last breath.”
