Heaven’s Warning for Our Future

Julie Poole Shares Near-Death Experience and a Message of Personal Responsibility
Spiritual teacher Julie Poole does not recount her story as spectacle. She tells it, she says, like a scar—something healed, but never erased.
In interviews and public talks, Poole has described a period of profound despair in her younger years, when depression left her feeling numb and overwhelmed. After a suicide attempt, she says she experienced what she characterizes as a near-death encounter: a sudden transition into what she describes as a realm defined not by fear or judgment, but by an overwhelming sense of unconditional love.
According to Poole, she encountered beings she refers to as angels, who communicated a vision of humanity’s future. The message, she says, did not center on divine rescue. Instead, it emphasized personal responsibility. Systems built on manipulation and secrecy, she claims, would weaken not through supernatural intervention, but as individuals awakened to their own worth and chose to act differently.
Skeptics frame such accounts as psychological phenomena that can occur during extreme trauma, while supporters view them as evidence of spiritual dimensions beyond conventional understanding. Poole herself often sidesteps the debate, focusing less on proving the experience and more on the implications she believes it carries.
She returned, she says, to the same imperfect world—but with a changed perspective. Whether interpreted as divine encounter or a mind under extraordinary stress, her story leaves a pointed question: if a more compassionate era is possible, what responsibility does each person bear in shaping it?
