What began as a routine workday in Great Falls turned into a life-or-death emergency for Loren. While operating a forklift on a bridge project, he fell several feet, sustaining critical injuries. Doctors determined that survival required a rare hemicorporectomy — the amputation of the lower half of his body. Without hesitation, Loren told doctors to do whatever was necessary to save his life.

Since the accident, Loren and his wife, Sabia, have shared their journey on YouTube, focusing on resilience, recovery, and adaptive living. They maintain privacy about personal intimacy but openly discuss medical care, including Loren’s colostomy and bilateral nephrostomy tubes, which allow him to manage waste and urine safely.
Married in 2021, Sabia has been central to Loren’s daily care, supporting his physical and emotional recovery. Reflecting six years after the accident, Loren expressed deep gratitude for her unwavering support.
