Green Pink and Yellow in 1 Sentence.

A series of unusual drunk-driving arrests has drawn attention online after officers encountered suspects whose humor, excuses, and bravado turned routine police stops into unforgettable moments. In one case, an intoxicated man was challenged by an officer to use the words “green,” “pink,” and “yellow” in a single sentence. Despite slurring his speech, the driver quickly replied, “My phone went green, I pinked it up and said yellow,” earning a reluctant laugh from the officer moments before being placed in handcuffs.

Another driver attempted a very different strategy, reportedly claiming to suffer from asthma, hemophilia, and diabetes in an effort to avoid breath, blood, and urine tests. Officers said the man rejected every sobriety procedure until he was finally asked to walk in a straight line. At that point, according to police, he abandoned the medical excuses entirely and admitted the real problem: “Because I’m too drunk.” The blunt confession quickly ended the roadside debate.

In a separate downtown incident, officers encountered a large and aggressive suspect who loudly boasted that he was strong enough to defeat a heavyweight boxer and break free from any restraint. Remaining calm, the arresting officer reframed the situation as a challenge, inviting the man to prove his strength by escaping a pair of “harmless” handcuffs. After struggling unsuccessfully for several minutes, the exhausted suspect finally admitted defeat. The officer then reportedly responded with a simple conclusion: “Good. Then you’re under arrest.”
