Unlike a love based on achievement, status, or moral performance, Christ’s love is portrayed as unconditional—extending even to those who reject or oppose Him.
The teachings of Jesus emphasize mercy, forgiveness, and grace. The phenomenon is not unique to modern society. The Bible notes that the people of Athens during the Apostle Paul’s visit spent much of their time seeking and discussing “something new” (Acts 17:21). Many Christians see parallels between that ancient mindset and today’s fast-paced information culture.
