All the grim things found inside Jeffrey Epstein’s abandoned “Lolita Express” plane

Epstein’s Former Jet Found in Severe Decay at Georgia Facility

A Boeing 727 once owned by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein is drawing renewed attention after new images revealed the aircraft in heavily deteriorated condition.

The jet has reportedly been grounded for roughly a decade at the Stambaugh Aviation facility in Brunswick, Georgia. Both the exterior and interior now show significant wear, underscoring years of inactivity and exposure.

Often referred to in media reports as the “Lolita Express,” the aircraft was purchased by Epstein in 2001 and was used to transport numerous high-profile passengers. Prosecutors have previously alleged the plane was also used to move victims across borders as part of Epstein’s trafficking operation.

When in service, the 133-foot Boeing 727 featured a kitchen, two bathrooms, and multiple seating areas. However, recent access granted to reporters revealed a stark decline. According to observations published by the New York Post, the interior now shows signs of mildew, insect activity, and abandoned personal items.

Items reportedly observed onboard included mold-affected toiletries, worn linens, and miscellaneous belongings left in storage areas. In the aircraft’s bedroom area, insects were said to be present in bedding, while emergency oxygen masks remained hanging from the ceiling.

The plane’s current custodian indicated the aircraft is no longer airworthy, noting it has been sitting without engines for years and is in a “significantly degraded” state. Plans had once been discussed to dismantle and scrap the jet after it was abandoned, but those steps were never completed.

The aircraft remains grounded as public interest in Epstein’s assets and activities continues years after his 2019 death in federal custody.
