Disney legend passes away at the age of 95

Richard M. Sherman, the legendary songwriter behind classics like Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, and It’s a Small World, has died at 95 from an age-related illness in Los Angeles. One half of the famed Sherman Brothers, he won two Oscars and three Grammys, helping define Disney’s golden age with songs that became cultural landmarks.
