Blondes at River Claim They’re Cleaning Water—Until Hidden “Catch” Reveals the Truth

Three women were spotted sitting quietly along a riverbank with fishing poles in the water, initially appearing to be enjoying a peaceful day of fishing.

A game warden who stopped to check compliance asked the group for fishing licenses, noting recent enforcement concerns in the area. The women responded that they did not have licenses, but insisted they were not actually fishing.

Instead, they explained that they were using magnetic devices attached to their lines to remove metal debris from the riverbed, including nails, cans, and other discarded objects. Moments later, they reeled in their lines, revealing magnets covered in rusted scrap metal, which appeared to support their claim.

Impressed, the officer allowed them to continue, acknowledging that there was no violation if they were indeed cleaning the river rather than fishing.

However, after the officer left, the women were seen reacting with laughter and excitement as they examined additional items pulled from the water, including fishing lures, tackle boxes, and a wallet containing cash.

The story highlights a humorous twist on enforcement and explanation, blurring the line between environmental cleanup and opportunistic “river magnet fishing.”
